On March 21, 2022 a set of wings came down from Heaven suddenly and unexpectedly for our beloved and cherished father, husband, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, Timoteo Peralta.
Timoteo was born on May 21, 1964 in Santiago, Dominican Republic to his late parents Estanislao and Laura Peralta. He was blessed with a large and loving family while being the youngest. He spent some of his childhood years in his country and later on came to live in the United States. Timoteo attended school throughout his time here by going to New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn where he played football for several years. He went on to continue his education in West Chester College to also follow through with his passion for football. While he was working in Varsity House, he met his future wife, Lizbeth Justiniano.
The two were married in 1987, from their love, they were blessed with two children, Kayla Ashley and Derek Timothy. Timoteo’s love and devotion to his children was admirable and impeccable. He loved spending time with his children, as they were his life and world. While they raised the children together, he went on to work at WaldBaums Incorporate for 14 years. He spent much of his time with his family and kids. The remaining working years of his life was spent being a security officer for PwC and Mulligan Securities where Timoteo built long lasting memories. He was kind, outspoken, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones. Timoteo is survived by his daughters, Kayla Ashley and Laura Peralta, his three sisters Isabel, Estela, and Idalia, by his brothers Vinicio, Ricardo, Andre and other siblings, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Derek Timothy, sister-in-law Carolyn Justiniano, brother Adolfo Peralta, and his parents.
We will always love you and carry you in our hearts. Rest in peace our angel…
We Thought of You Today
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.
All we have now are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake with whom we will never part.
God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,
For a part of us went with you the day God took you home.
