Dios vió que te estabas cansando
y una cura no estabas esperando.
Entonces estrechó sus brazos
y murmuró: "ven a mi lado." 
Llorando te observamos y te vimos partir
aunque nuestro amor era muy grande nada te pararia de ir
Tu corazón de oro dejó de latir,
tus manos activas escansaron. 
Dios destrozó nuestro corazón para comprobar
que sólo se lleva lo major.

God saw you were getting tired, 
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you,
And whispered "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you 
As you slowly slipped away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands were put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
