Obituary

Brian J. Kelly, 39, Brooklyn, passed away on May 14th after a long illness.  He was born in Syracuse, New York on the Fourth of July and lived in Upstate NY and PA before settling in Brooklyn. 

Brian was a 2000 graduate of Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, PA.  He graduated with a B.A. in Linguistics in 2005 from Binghamton University.

He worked for Geometry Global, Manhattan, NY, from 2010-2017, as a VP for Data Processing.

Brian’s many interests included astronomy, languages, music, nature, and the pursuit of new and varied hot sauces.  He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends from around the world.

Surviving are his parents, John and Tish Kelly of Lancaster, PA., brothers Matthew (Nicole) of East Northport, NY, Chris (Emily) of Halfmoon, NY, and sister Colleen of Lancaster, PA.  Brian also had two nephews, Joshua and Benjamin.

Memorial services for Brian are being held on July 9th, 12:00 PM, Elwood Park, East Northport, NY and August 13th, 12:00 PM, Lakeside Park, Cazenovia, NY
